Sergio Garcia Offers To Choke His Chicken For Tiger Woods

Saying he had difficulty sleeping and contemplated withdrawing from this week’s European Tour event, Sergio Garcia on Wednesday afternoon apologized for racially insensitive remarks directed at Tiger Woods at a tour function outside London the previous night, saying his comments were “totally stupid and out of place.”

The two golfers have been engaged in a war of words going back two weeks to The Players Championship, and it turned ugly Tuesday night with Garcia’s admitted poor attempt at humor, which prompted a tweet from Woods: “The comment that was made wasn’t silly. It was wrong, hurtful and clearly inappropriate.”

Macaulay Culkin Takes A Crack At Living With Pete Doherty

Macaulay Culkin has been going through some rough times. He hasn’t been quite the same since he split from ex girlfriend Mila Kunis. And there was the whole, “Dude looks like he’s on heroin” thing.

Now apparently he is very badly addicted to cigarettes and is smoking up to 60 per day. From The National Enquirer:

The troubled 32-year-old actor is smoking an astonishing 60 ciga­rettes a day and putting his life at risk of deadly lung cancer!

“Mac has swapped out one deadly habit for another,” declared a con­cerned pal. “It’s a nightmare!”

Last August, The ENQUIRER re­vealed that the former child star was a heroin addict who also abused painkillers. Now, he’s said to be off heroin and trying to clean up his act, but he’s tragically relying on an­other life-threatening crutch.

“He’s put his nicotine addiction into overdrive,” revealed another friend. “Almost every time I see him, he has a cigarette dangling from his lips and is puffing furiously.”

His brand of choice is Marlboro.

NFL Evan Mathis Concerned Over Tim Tebow’s Virginity: Tweets Offering Services

Tim Tebow’s virginity is a personal matter. The devout Christian football player has gone on record saying that he is saving himself for marriage.

And there’s nothing wrong with that.

But one NFL player decided to make a little joke about Tebow’s sex status, and that player would be Philadelphia Eagles guard Evan Mathis.

Mathis, a former Alabama Crimson Tide player, took to Twitter this week to post a picture of a sign that says, “Don’t die a virgin. Terrorists are up there waiting for you.” He tweeted the photo with the message: “<3 @TimTebow, Thinking about you big guy"

Oklahoma Senator Who Voted Against Hurricane Sandy Relief Changing Tune Quickly

Facing questions on his position about federal disaster aid Tuesday, Sen. Tom Coburn of Oklahoma confirmed he would want to offset any relief money with cuts to other parts of the budget but quickly added now was not the time do be discussing such matters.

“It’s insensitive to even talk about it now,” Coburn said in an exclusive interview with CNN’s Chief Congressional Correspondent Dana Bash on Capitol Hill. “It just shows the crassness of Washington versus the sensitivity that we need to have.”

‘Kitchen Nightmares’ Proves True For Amy’s Baking Company After Extortion Threats

The co-owner of Amy’s Baking Company — a Scottsdale restaurant that has been the center of controversy ever since appearing on the culinary reality TV show “Kitchen Nightmares” 11 days ago — is facing deportation.

Salomon “Samy” Bouzaglo, who owns Amy’s Baking Company along with his wife, Amy, is involved in a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement case to revoke his residency status, his lawyer said Tuesday. Scottsdale immigration lawyer David Asser said the case against his client started two years ago and was the subject of a removal hearing Monday.

Asser, speaking just hours before the Bouzaglos reopened their embattled restaurant, said he could not comment on the case. He also said Samy’s immigration case has nothing to do with the television show. In fact, Asser said, he has not even watched the episode that has earned his client celebrity status.

A 91-year-old WWII veteran fighting to prevent his daughter from evicting him from his Ohio home has raised more than $138,000 from online donors to buy back his home, easily surpassing his goal.

John Potter says he’s ‘amazed’ by the more than 5,000 people who have donated toward his original $125,000 goal while telling his granddaughter, Jaclyn Fraley, ‘I never knew people could love an old man so much.’

After Mr Potter’s daughter sent him an eviction notice earlier this year, Ms Fraley organized the desperate fundraiser for him in April while sharing with the public his dire situation.
